Composed by American Folk Tune. Arranged by Nigel Williams. Folk,Standards. 10 pages. Nigel Williams #3909377. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763289).

This classic American folk tune is arranged for a wind quartet of three flutes and an oboe. A violin could also play if there is no oboe available. The four statements of the melody cover three tonal areas. The oboe is predominantly in the lower and middle register with the flutes in the first and second octave. The gently opening off-beat flute chords are reminiscent of the gently flowing waters, and the oboe and first flute share the melody throughout. While the score has extensive slurring marks added, please use your own judgement to secure the musical result you desire. The performance duration is over three minutes and the full score comes with four separate parts attached.
