Composed by Traditional. Arranged by James Goodwin. Folk,Holiday,Patriotic. Score and parts. 35 pages. James Goodwin #4596509. Published by James Goodwin (A0.926708).

This arrangement of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon is a small concert band arrangement of the traditional marching song sung by soldiers who are on the march and remembering the girl they left behind. The instrumentation is for a smaller band with 1 flute/piccolo part, oboe, 3 clarinet parts, 2 alto sax parts, tenor and baritone saxes, 3 trumpet parts, 2 horn parts, 3 trombone parts, euphonium, tuba, snare drum, bass drum, and crash cymbals. It is easily accessible by most high school bands and community bands (grade 2 1/2). At one point in the music, the players call out left!, left!, left, right, left! etc., just as soldiers would do on the march. Length is approximately 1'45".

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
