Die Panflöte, auch Syrinx, ist ein altes Hirteninstrument, benannt nach dem griechischen Hirtengott Pan. Sie ist auf der ganzen Welt verbreitet, es gibt sie schon seit Tausenden von Jahren und sie ist bis heute ein beliebtes Folklore-Instrument.
