Of all his pieces, perhaps his most famous is his serenade, often referred to as "Schubert's Serenade". This simple arrangement for beginning elementary band will be very likely a favorite on your program.
All parts are written within the range of young elementary grade musicians. To produce a full sound, many instruments double other instruments, i.e. Eb sax and French horn, low brass and tenor sax, flute and oboe.
