The arrangement incorporates various degrees of Romanticism and some moments of Impressionism. Overall, it carries an orchestral approach in the sense that there are numerous lines and themes that coexist at the same time. Aside from Schubert's original melody and accompaniment, there exists a newly composed counter-theme (measures 2-4, LH). Careful attention to the multiple layers and themes must be taken into consideration. The melody must always be present, and all of the accompanying textures should have their own distinct level of dynamics and tone color.
