In Satoshi Yagisawas SAXOPHONE CONCERTINO the solo instrument is integrated with the accompaniment, rather than being separate. The romantic-sounding solo chorale in the first half of the work sounds wonderful on the alto saxophone. A lively allegrois heard in the second movement, referencing music of the baroque era, with the solo now played on the soprano saxophone but by the same soloist.

In diesem Stück ist die Solostimme nicht von der Begleitung separiert, sondern entwickelt die Musik behutsam gemeinsam mit dieser. Der romantisch-klingende Choral in der ersten Hälfte des Werks kling wunderschön auf dem Altsaxophon. Ein lebhaftesAllegro bildet den zweiten Satz und errinert an Barockmusik. Dieses Solo wird von demselben Solist mit dem Sopransaxophon gespielt. So kann der Solist sein Können in vielfältiger Weise präsentieren.
Das Werk ist auch in einer Ausgabe für Saxophon und Blasorchester erhältlich (DHP 1115180-010).
