Published by Ondra Kvita (A0.1017187).Jan Antonín Losy (1650 – 1721) was a Bohemian aristocrat, famous baroque lute player and composer from Prague. His lute works combine the French style brisé with a more Italian cantabile style. My version of Losy's master piece is in arrangement for String Quartet. Music ensembles in this composition of instruments (string quartet) have a long tradition in the Czech Republic.
