SKU: A0.826722

By Steve Tyrell. By John Frederick Coots. Arranged by Bud Caputo. Contemporary. Score and parts. 19 pages. Bud Caputo #6119407. Published by Bud Caputo (A0.826722).

Composed in 1934, this song became an instant success and has lasted as one of the great holiday favorites. The song has been recorded by over 200 artists, including Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters, The Crystals, Mariah Carey, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Chris Isaak, Michael Bublé and The Jackson 5 .  This arrangement is set as a slow "Lil Darlin," -Basie style groove which will require students to learn not to rush the quarter notes.  Parts remain in first position but there are some chromatic passages that will require careful listening.  A solo electric bass may be substituted for the traditional bass section, or may double the section.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
