Guitar - Digital Download

SKU: A0.915030

Composed by Rick Alexander. Contemporary. Guitar Tab. 5 pages. Rick Alexander #6111225. Published by Rick Alexander (A0.915030).

"Resonance" explores the resonance of the classical guitar and exploits an alternate tuning, from low to high, of DADGBD which allows for lots of bell-like ringing open strings. The piece is based around a repeating pattern and as it proceeds resonant phrases bounce off this pattern. The middle section branches to a minor key temporarily and finishes with a descending chromatic run of chords up the neck. The piece concludes with final flowing phrases and a series of harmonics exploiting the tuning to the fullest.  The duration is approximately 3:50.
