Radioactive is an electronic rock and alternative rock song by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons released in October 2012, and later featured on the opening track on their debut album, Night Visions. Radioactive received two Grammy Awards nominations for Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance, winning the latter. Speaking on the song, lead singer Dan Reynolds said, "It's a song about having an awakening; kind of waking up one day and deciding to do something new, and see life in a fresh way.".
