My 2nd Jazz Ensemble becomes a rock band to play at basketball games. We want to fit a lot of tunes in the time we have so I trim the forms of my charts. The second verse of this one can be included by adding some repeats and telling your guitar player to learn the other "answer" phrases.
The original is in a guitar key so I pitched it up a half-step to be more accessible to my wind players. It does put the cool trumpet line up a bit higher. Your top kids can reach it! I included the lyrics on this one.
