Composed by Guillermo A. Hernandez III. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 11 pages. Guillermo A. Hernandez III #644756. Published by Guillermo A. Hernandez III (A0.1039887).

This is a setting of Psalm 139 written for men's chorus and piano accompaniment. The piano accompaniment adds to the dramatic moments in the work, which are driven by the powerful text. The middle of the piece contains an aleatoric section where the tenors create a "cloud of sound." This section leads to the climax of the work where the vocals are in unison, while the piano adds to the texture by playing strong and intense chromatic harmonies. The journey end with optimism and end a capella with the text "thy hand will hold me.".
