By Kevin Frecker. By George William Warren. Arranged by Kevin Frecker. Christian,Patriotic,Sacred. Individual part. 3 pages. Kevin Frecker #1004482. Published by Kevin Frecker (A0.1423169).

This organ arrangement of the patriotic hymn "God of Our Fathers" uses the hymn tune National Hymn. The tune appears twice - first in imitative counterpoint between the hands on one manual and the pedals. The second time, the tune is soloed in the left hand with a recommended reed stop. The piece ends on a decrescendo for a quiet finish, making it useful as either a meditative piece or a quiet postlude. Unlike many patriotic hymns, the text of God of Our Fathers keeps the focus first on God over country, something to consider when preparing this piece for a religious service. Ideal for organists at the early intermediate to intermediate level.
