Composed by Claude Debussy. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. 20th Century. Score and part. 24 pages. Gordon Cherry #994606. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1412589).Menuet and Passepied movements have been beautifully arranged by Ralph Sauer for Trombone and Piano. These two lovely miniatures are taken from the Suite Bergamasque composed by Claude Debussy, originally composed for the Piano between 1890 and 1905.
The Menuet is non-Baroque-like and with all the embellishments is more like an arabesque.
The Passepied also a dance, is fast and light with a 3 against 4 polyrhythm. (Wikipedia).
This work is suitable for advanced performers.
