The songs' simple musical structure perfectly renders a subtly allusive and jocular style of Tuwim's poetry; their melodies follow the texts which prompted the composer to set them to music. The solo part may also be performed by a children's choir singing in unison. Project co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland within the programme Lutoslawski 2013 Promesa implemented by the Institute of Music and Dance.
