Finale, Mvt. 4 from Piano Sonata No. 2, Op. 35, by Frédéric Chopin for solo guitar in Bb minor. This unique piece, which has been described as weird, enigmatic and atonal, presents a serious challenge for even the advanced guitarist. Although it flows relatively smoothly across the fretboard with only a few passages requiring large shifts, skipped strings and short sweeps, reading and interpreting the piece, while heeding the 5-flat key signature amidst an onslaught of accidentals (at least one in a majority of measures!) will be an uphill (but, hopefully, not insurmountable) battle, not to mention the task of bringing it up to tempo. Given its high range and quick tempo, this arrangement is intended for picked electric guitar, however, classical guitarists will benefit from working through portions of the score, either as an exercise in sight-reading or developing speed and coordination. Includes 8-page score with tablature plus individual guitar part without tab.
