The movement opens with a wonderful clarinet solo, accompanied by delicate strings, before gradually building up towards a full orchestral texture. The faster middle section offers a distinct contrast, with exquisite harmonies being brought to the fore by the rich brass section.
This arrangement is the ideal concert piece, fully capable of being performed as a stand-alone movement. The other movements will be available soon from the same publisher.
Included are both a conductor's score and all the parts, including multiple copies of the string parts to avoid the need for photocopying.
