It is written in an overtly late 19th century romantic style with considerable use of chromaticism. A fairly lengthy introduction hints frequently at the tune before the melody proper appears. The chorus concludes in grandiose style followed by a brief postlude that quietly reiterates the opening measures of the piece. I have provided a full-length recording to aid the prospective buyer in the decision-making process.
