Composed by Aloys Schmitt. Arranged by John M. Honeycutt. Instructional. Individual part. 10 pages. Music Innovators Workshop #4582669. Published by Music Innovators Workshop (A0.984746).

This document is an instructional unit in the MIW Basic Keyboard Skills Method. This unit begins with several pages of preparatory thumb shifting exercise by Aloys Schmitt. These exercises are followed by two-octave scales for both hands in all major keys. These scales demonstrate how the key map scales with several sharps and flats are orders of magnitude easier to read and play than in the traditional notation!

For more information on this and other units of the Basic Keyboard Skills Series, you can refer to the Teacher's Manual for the Series - Unit PK-01. You will find it listed along with the other publications of the Music Innovator's Workshop on this site.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
