The Pizzicato Polka was written for string orchestra, was published in 1870, and became extremely popular on Strauss’ tours of Europe. All notes were played on plucked strings.  

DUET for AT recorders has conductor’s score, individual parts, and extra Alto part at octave.  
SOLO pieces of the familiar melody for S, A, T, and B recorders are included.
