Composed by Walther von der Vogelweide. Arranged by Sarah Berry. Christian,Classical,Concert,World. Score. 2 pages. Sarah Berry #5712287. Published by Sarah Berry (A0.902004).

This 13th century German song was written at the time of the Crusades. It tells the story of a crusader who sees the Holy Land where Christ lived.

"Song of Palestine" was likely sung as a solo, with lyrics written by the renowned German poet Walter von der Vogelweide (c.1170- c. 1230). This arrangement is an adaptation of the original melody, adding harmonies to make it enjoyable to play on the piano.  .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
