Published by WCB Publications (A0.484053).At age 14, Frederick Moogk was hand-picked by Canada's "Music Man" C.F. Thiele to be the first official employee of the Waterloo Music Company in Waterloo, Canada. As the company's success grew, Moogk went on to become Theile's right-hand man for the next 33 years, eventually succeeding Thiele as president. On Parade, currently Moogk's only existing composition (at least, that our research has so far yielded) is a spectacular concert band march, and a band & audience favourite. At one time, copies of On Parade were found in the libraries of virtually every Canadian concert band. This new edition has been corrected and updated for the modern (21st-Century) concert band by Trevor P. Wagler. This selection is part of the Historic Waterloo Band Series. All proceeds support the Waterloo Concert Band.
