"The Olive Tree" or “Olive Tree” is a popular song -written by Diane Lampert and Tom Springfield and performed by Judith Durham in 1967. This was her first solo effort even though she was still a member of The Seekers. The arrangement here is for the Concert Band featuring the Horn section. It develops a Latin feel after an extended introduction. There are parts for Horns in Eb and F, Trombones 1 and 2 in TC and BC, Euphonium TC and BC, and Tubas in Eb, Bb, and C.
