It has a repeating passacaglia-like bass line that gradually builds and then releases when the waves hit the shore. The piano creates the image of rolling waves washing onto a beachfront while the other instruments act as the mist on the water. Its simple yet layered structure invites the listener to relax and imagine staring beyond the horizon. Instrumentation Mixed piano trio of - Clarinet (B flat) / Violin / Viola Cello Piano.
