For a long time, guitar players have asked for a carefully edited urtext edition which takes the composer's original text from the autograph into account. In cooperation with the Archivo Joaquin Turina (Madrid), Marian Alvarez has now prepared a reliable musical text for Turina's works for the first time, thus setting a new standard for the interpretation of these works. A detailed introduction to Turina's music and a comprehensive critical report provide the user with a completely new access to Turina's guitar music.
