Composed by Colin Brumby. Text: The Roman Missal. Easy canonic setting. Lent, Holy Week. Octavo. Published by CanticaNOVA Publications (C5.5140).

O My People is an easy anthem for two-part mixed choir and organ. It's written in the form of a two-part canon at the octave, by a master of canonic writing, Dr. Colin Brumby. The text is taken from The Reproaches which are traditionally chanted during the Veneration of the Cross on Good Friday. Dr. Brumby has adapted the antiphon and first versicle of the traditional text: "O my people, what have I done to you? Or in what have I offended you? Testify against me. Because I led you out of the land of Egypt, you have prepared a cross for your Saviour.".
