(Now and Then There's) A Fool Such as I, written by Bill Trader, was published in 1952 and served as a big hit for the country artist Hank Snow. It became an even bigger hit when Elvis, the King of Rock'n'Roll, turned the country melody into a swinging pop classic, recorded in 1959 and was one of Elvis Presley´s many successful songs during his Swinging Sixties.
