An additional stimulus should thus be given to the pupil who has a liking for musical forms of this kind, but not at the expense of the teacher's supervision of the necessary technicalside of piano playing. A hort "holiday" from Classical sonatinas and studies should help him to get over a time of "boredom", so that he will eventually return to tratitional material with even greater enthusiasm. And in several pieces there is an opportunity to improvise above the harmonic pattern in the left hand.
