Composed by Guillaume Dufay. Edited by Gabor Darvas. Letter format (190 x 270). Staple Bound. Choral. Full score. 36 pages. Edition Kunzelmann #OCT-10035. Published by Edition Kunzelmann (KU.OCT-10035).

Latin.

Composed between 1440 and 1460, this is one of the earliest "cantus-firmus" masses (meaning that it employs a tune that runs through the entire work, from movement to movement; usually in the same voice, but at times moving from one voice to another throughout the work). In this Mass, the Cantus-Firmus comes from the Sarum (Antiphonale Sarisburiens) with the text "Venit ad Petrum". The melody is repeated twice in each of the movements of the Mass; first in triple, then in duple time, always in the Tenor Part.
