After a short intro with solos for the tenor, bass drums and snares the bass drums are laying the foundation for this songo groove. First the tenors are joining with the clave pattern played on the cowbell in the right hand. Sometimes the clave part is doubled in the snare, but often they are playing other accents, which creates a nice groove. After a few longer solos for bass drum, snares and tenors, the songo groove returns in a different way and the piece is ending.
