Composed by Louise Farrenc. Arranged by Robert Debbaut. 19th Century,Contest,Festival,Romantic Period. Score and part. 4 pages. ROBERT DEBBAUT #770981. Published by ROBERT DEBBAUT (A0.1170610).

Louise Farrenc (1804-1875) was the only woman to hold a professorship at a European Conservatory (Paris) in the 19th Century.  They would only allow her to teach piano, because she was a virtuoso pianist.  During her lifetime she mainly composed for piano, but also wrote works for the orchestra, including three symphonies, and a great deal of mixed chamber music.  This short, lovely melody, is certainly characteristic of the Romantic Era and would make a lovely recital work.  If you purchase, please write to the arranger at debbaut@gmail.com, subject "Farrenc" and I will send you a copy of the solo part at no charge.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
