This mashup is inspired by a similar arrangement of Love Story and Viva la Vida written by the Piano Guys. Written for violin and viola, it constitutes a combination my favorite elements of the Piano Guys' arrangement and those of the original songs. A constant beat, mostly reflected in the viola line, keeps the motion of the piece driving forward with a percussive feel. Though both instruments get turns at the melody, the violin frequents the vocal line as well as electric guitar solos. While this arrangement includes, "Love Story" in it's entirety, only the chorus to "Viva la Vida" and subsequent instrumentals are included.
