This anthem is one of my personal favorites, and beautifully performed in the attached audio file. It was commissioned by the SouthWest Jersey Chapter of The American Guild of Organists for their Annual Service in 2016 and was previously published by Saint James Music Press. Scored for SATB, solo violin and organ, the text is taken from the hymns Come Down, O Love Divine by Bianca da Siena, (d. 1434) and Charles Wesley (1707-88). It is especially suitable for Pentecost Sunday but could be used as a general anthem at other times.
