Years ago it was a secluded but not-so "secret" swimming hole for locals and knowledgeable college students. Now there is not much swimming there, but it and its surroundings are still beautiful to those who are willing to walk a bit. There is no sign (there used to be), but it is close to an off-road motorcycle trailhead on Springhill Road.
