This piece is a great introduction to broken chords and the use of syncopated pedalling. It can also be enjoyed by younger or less advanced students by playing an octave higher and holding the damper/sustain pedal throughout. This piece is an excerpt from another of my compositions, titled "Rainbows". That piece has a more challenging B section better suited to an intermediate player.
