Starting out with a medium-up swing intro, this piece breaks into an half-time, somewhat Hip-Hop groove reminiscent of Kenny Garretts vibe. An excerpt from his typical, creative, charming phrasing has been turned into a saxophone soli section and some other melodic material has been developed by contrapuntal means. Solos are scored for piano and tenor sax. Lead trumpet goes up to Db. 5/4/4/4/g/p/b/d instrumentation. No doubles.
