This work is made up of two continuous sections that feature contrasting Latin rhythms. The first section is a duet for the alto saxophone and piano that is slow and expressive. The second section is a duet for the soprano saxophone and piano that is much quicker in tempo, and upbeat. The piece ends with an improvisation section for the soprano sax that lends itself to the style of jazz.
Meant for two players, with sufficient time to switch between instruments before the second section begins.
