La Playa is Spanish for “the beach”. The music of La Playa is meant to capture a wonderful, sun filled day at any tropical beach. Lots of Latin percussion start the trip. The A section is a catchy, syncopated melody with fun parts for all to play. After a brief percussion fill, the B section continues with lots of syncopation.
