Anton de Kontski (1816-1899) was a Polish pianist and composer. He was also known as Antoni Kątski. Kontski was one of five children, all musical. He was a child prodigy pianist and a brilliant composer.
 
Kontski composed two piano sonatas. Each sonata has four movements. This is an orchestral arrangement of the second movement of the first sonata. Arranged for orchestra by Scott Fields Davis.
