Magidenko has been composed the three piano trios op. 6/1, op. 6/2 and op. 85 in a self-constructed form: the pieces always start with a slow first part and speed up in the second part. The first movement is lyrical and sad with varying development. The second movement
is in rondo form and begins with a marching, threatening first theme.
