Small Ensemble Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe,Piano,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.942162

Composed by Gustav Mahler. Arranged by Armin Terzer. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 112 pages. Armin Terzer #4764455. Published by Armin Terzer (A0.942162).

This is an arrangement forsolo voice, woodwind quintet and piano of Mahler’s complete Kindertotenlieder (Songs on the Death of Children). The quintet covers most of the original wind and brass parts while the piano mostly covers the strings.  This is very effective in chamber music recitals (as a companion piece to the Poulenc Sextuor, for instance) or vocal recitals (adding many more of the original colours as opposed to a simple piano accompaniment). The level of difficulty is "aspiring intermediate" to advanced. The set contains a full score, quintet parts and a vocal score (small staves for quintet, regular size staves for voice and piano).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
