Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.483135

Composed by African American Spiritual. Arranged by Keith Loftis. Jazz,Praise & Worship,Spiritual. Score and parts. 17 pages. Keith Loftis #102749. Published by Keith Loftis (A0.483135).

This arrangement starts out with a "ram-horn" call and then quickly jumps into a swing-groove. The melody gets passed to various instruments, while the rest of the ensemble provides fills and counter-melodies. The music builds to a full sound when suddenly the first trumpet starts a quasi-fugue with the second trumpet and horn. The low brass join to take it to a big finish. This high energy, crowd pleasing piece was written with intermediate to advanced-intermediate ensembles in mind.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
