Concertino. Composed by Jacobi. This edition: Saddle stitching. Sheet music. Edition Schott. Piano reduction. Composed 1958. 20 pages. Schott Music #MH 40443. Published by Schott Music (HL.49037184).

Wolfgang Jacobi (1894-1972) was born in Bergen, near Rugen, and studied at the academy of music in Berlin. From 1936 Jacobi lived in Munich, where he continued to devote himself to his work as a composer in spite of the National Socialist ban on Jews continuing in employment. In 1946 he started teaching at the Handel Conservatoire in Munich, later becoming professor of composition at the academy of music in the same city. Jacobi's compositions include works for orchestra and choir, chamber music and, since 1955, compositions for accordion which were first performed by well-known players and which now have an established place in the accordion repertoire.
