Composed by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn. Arranged by Jaymie Maham. Contemporary,Jazz,Standards. Individual part. 4 pages. Jaymie Maham #539008. Published by Jaymie Maham (A0.933529).

"It's Been a Long, Long Time" is a big band-era song that was a hit at the end of World War II. Made popular by famed band leader Harry James and sung by notables such as Bing Crosby, this iconic song skyrocketed to number one on the charts in 1945. More recently recognized as the song Captain America and his sweetheart danced to during the closing credits of Avengers: Endgame. Now available to mountain dulcimer players using standard DAD tuning, however a 1+ fret is required. Suggested for players at the intermediate level and above. One measure suggests "bending" the melody string to achieve a particularly jazzy chord. Three pages, lead sheet notation, tablature, and accompaniment chords displayed.
