This fine concert piece opens with a very lyrical slow section featuring a clarinet and baritone solo over expressive jazz-like harmonies. Energetic rhythms build around a Latin flavored melody in the middle section before returning to a beautifully orchestrated quiet ending. A marvelous change of pace for your next concert.
