The Japanese composer Kamioka Youichi is a newcomer in our European band world. His composition iIn Autumn Skiesi is a traditional march, however characterised by quite original ornaments, especially in the woodwind register. The march was commissioned by the Japan Bandmasters Association and was first performed in Europe during the 8th International WASBE conference at Schladming, Austria, under the direction of Toshio Akiyama.
