The fifth impromptu combines elements from the first four impromptus such as long flowing melodies, piano hand-crossings, and driving energy, in an arch form comprised of five different dance-like sections. It is a blend of energy and grace, relying on technique, musicality and teamwork to paint a coherent picture from its five scenes. Difficulty level is medium-advanced. Performance time is 5:52.
