Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Charles Gunsaullus. Christmas. Score and parts. 15 pages. Charles Gunsaullus #3226575. Published by Charles Gunsaullus (A0.870871).

I Saw Three Ships is a popular English Christmas carol that dates back to the 17th century.  This arrangement treats it like a round with different instruments playing melody at different times.  There are also two cameos from famous Christmas tunes; Good King Wenceslas, and (in a nod to Gustav Holst) the Greensleaves melody.

This is an intermediate level piece with rather easy notes in each instrument.  The difficult part comes when the Greensleaves melody is played.  Just like in St. Paul's Suite, there is a 2 against 3 thing going on that will make intermediate players think a bit.
