Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.851317

Composed by Tim Attride. Christian,Christmas,Concert,Sacred. Octavo. 3 pages. Tim Attride #4895167. Published by Tim Attride (A0.851317).

Using one of the many variations on these anonymous 15th Century words, this is a generally quiet setting, utilising solos (for verses 1-4) and straightforward 4-part harmony (for verse 5 and the refrains).  The final refrain is a more elaborate melismatic arrangement - taking it more slowly after the rallentando at the end of verse 5 will allow the harmonies to develop and be heard more easily and effectively - but still well within the abilities of most SATB choirs.  Suitable for services of Lessons and Carols, concerts and as an anthem within a liturgical service around Christmas.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
