I Fly to You is a setting of part of Alexander Scriabin's poem for "The Prefatory Action". The Russian text is an esoteric hymn to the spiritual union of opposites, the soul of alchemy. The music is dramatic: sometimes foreboding, sometimes erotic, sometimes triumphant, even ecstatic. It is a challenging, but impactful work.
